FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about working with Techorph Hospitality Solutions on your technology and AI strategy.
What services does Techorph Hospitality Solutions offer?+
Techorph Hospitality Solutions provides technology and AI consulting for the hospitality industry. Core engagements include hotel technology strategy and assessments, AI readiness assessments and adoption roadmaps, fractional CIO / VP of Technology leadership, systems and PMS integration recovery, vendor selection and negotiation, and end-to-end digital transformation. Every engagement is tailored to your property's goals and delivered by our specialist team.
What happens during a strategy call?+
A strategy call is a complimentary 30-minute conversation with our team. We discuss your current technology landscape, the operational or guest-experience challenges you're facing, and your growth or modernization goals. You'll leave with a clear sense of where the biggest opportunities and risks are, and whether — and how — a Techorph engagement could help. There is no obligation and no sales pressure.
How long do engagements last, and how is pricing structured?+
Engagement length varies with scope. A focused assessment may run a few weeks, while fractional CIO support or a multi-phase transformation can extend over many months as an ongoing partnership. Pricing is custom and value-based rather than off-the-shelf — it reflects the scope, complexity, and business impact of the work. After an initial strategy call we provide a clear proposal so you know exactly what to expect before committing.
Which industries and types of properties do you serve?+
We focus on the hospitality sector: luxury hotels, independent hotels, resorts, and hotel management companies. Whether you operate a single distinctive property or a multi-property portfolio, the approach is the same — business-first technology strategy that improves guest experience, reduces operational risk, and accelerates growth.
What is a fractional CIO, and why would a hotel need one?+
A fractional CIO is an experienced technology executive who leads your technology strategy on a part-time or interim basis, giving you senior leadership without the cost of a full-time hire. For hotels and resorts, a fractional CIO sets technology direction, oversees major systems and vendors, governs AI adoption, manages risk, and translates technology into business outcomes at the executive and board level — ideal for organizations that need leadership now but aren't ready for a permanent role.
How does an AI readiness assessment work?+
An AI readiness assessment evaluates where your organization stands today and where AI can deliver real value. We review your data, systems, processes, and team capabilities, identify high-impact use cases across guest experience and operations, and assess the governance and risk considerations involved. You receive a prioritized, practical roadmap for adopting AI responsibly — not hype, but a plan you can actually execute.
Can you help with PMS and systems integration?+
Yes. Disconnected systems are one of the most common and costly problems in hospitality. We assess your PMS, CRS, CRM, POS, and supporting systems, identify where data and workflows break down, and design an integration architecture that connects them reliably. We also lead integration recovery when a previous project has stalled or failed, getting your technology stack working as one.
How do engagements typically start?+
Every engagement begins with a complimentary strategy call to understand your goals and challenges. From there we usually recommend a focused assessment to establish a clear, shared picture of your current state and priorities. That assessment becomes the foundation for any further work — whether a transformation roadmap, fractional CIO support, or a specific integration project. You're never locked into a large commitment up front.
Do you work with small or independent properties?+
Absolutely. Independent and boutique properties often have the most to gain from smart technology decisions, because they compete with larger groups while running leaner teams. Our vendor-agnostic, business-first approach is designed to fit your budget and your team's capacity, so recommendations are practical and genuinely executable — not enterprise frameworks that gather dust.
Where are you located, and do you work remotely?+
Techorph Hospitality Solutions works with clients remotely and on-site as needed, and is not limited to a single region. Most strategy work, assessments, and fractional CIO support are delivered effectively through remote collaboration, with on-site visits arranged when they add clear value. Reach out via a strategy call to confirm fit for your location.
