Case studies

Techorph publishes work we can describe responsibly, with the evidence behind it. Some hotel and portfolio details remain confidential. The examples below focus on the operating problem, the evidence, and what changed.

The experience behind HTMS™ includes 15 years of hotel technology leadership and advisory work.

The operating experience below is reflected in the HTMS™ product · sample interface shown

Independent luxury hotels

AI guest messaging

The goal was to reduce repetitive guest-message handling without removing human control. The pilot tested AI-assisted guest messaging in a luxury hotel environment, including a draft-review model where staff reviewed the response before it was sent.

What the evidence showed

Typical manual handling time observed per guest message before AI assistance.
5–7 min
Approximate human review time when staff validated an AI-generated draft.
~1 min

What mattered: FAQ quality, escalation rules, multilingual review, PMS and guest context, and a clear human-control model.

What HTMS™ carries forward: AI readiness should be evaluated against the use case and the dependencies needed to operate it, not treated as a generic score.

Hotel technology assessment

The aim was to turn a technology review into a repeatable management framework. A 10-domain technology assessment model used structured 0–5 scoring to move the conversation from isolated systems to a repeatable view of hotel technology capability, gaps, and priorities.

That discipline now informs HTMS™ scoring, evidence confidence, drill-down reasoning, and the requirement to show Unknown when the platform does not have enough information.

Product principle

Optimize what the hotel already owns before recommending more technology. HTMS™ is built to expose systems, capabilities, vendors, contracts, adoption, integration gaps, spend, risk, and department needs before the next purchase or AI initiative is approved.

Next step

Bring one technology question from your own hotel to the demo. We will show how HTMS™ links the evidence, cost, systems, vendors, department impact, recommendation, decision, and action around it.
